I would like to use this book in my classroom as a our class read aloud. I believe it is a cute story that my
students would really enjoy listening to. I also feel that maybe some of my students could relate to Opal in
some ways such as moving, feeling lonely, not having a mom, or even having an animal that they are
really close to.

I feel as if this book would be great for students in 6th grade and up. It is not too long and a perfect book
for older children to adults. Also, it is a cute story that I feel a lot of students would enjoy reading and some
may even relate to.

I would use this book in my classroom as our class read aloud. When we have free time I would read them
the book and let them relax and listen. I would also spark up conversations by asking comprehension
questions about the book and asking them to make text to self connections throughout it.
