I would love to use this book in my classroom! I love the message of the importance of keeping old tales
alive and the power of a good storyteller. I feel as if my students would love the tales that lie within and
the idea that the stories filled the boy with water in which he would deliver to his town. It also has beautiful
pictures which I feel are extremely appealing and I know my students will love.

I feel as if this book is perfect for students in kindergarten through 4th grade. It has a great message of the
importance of keeping tradition and stories alive as well as a great symbolic meaning. In addition, it has easy
to read words and sentences which is perfect for younger students . Also, the book has great pictures that I
feel my students would enjoy looking at.

If I were to use this book in my classroom I would first read it out loud to my class. Then, I would have a
class discussion about why the stories the storyteller told were so important and the impact they had on not
only him but the town as a whole. After that, I would have students draw the town before the stories were
shared with the boy and then the town after.
