Greg Heffley is a young boy who has just gotten on summer vacation. He is extremely excited to finally

readers through Greg and his families journeys along the way. Some good, some bad, some embarrassing,
and some even eye opening. After enduring an immense amount of troubles Greg's mother decides that
enough is enough and takes the family back home. On their way home they decide to make another pit stop
in order to retrieve some of the items that they got stolen from them. Despite all of their battles with the car
breaking down, encountering a language barrier, and the stress of escaping more trouble the family makes it
home. At the end of the book Greg finds a very important piece of information in his jacket pocket in which
now he has to decide what to do with it.

I would like to use this book in my classroom! I would not use it for educational purposes but as a fun read
aloud for free time. It has an abundance of humor and even has a sweet story about a family overcoming
battles as a team. I feel that this book would be a great book to read to my students as a little bit of a break
from school work.

I feel as if this book would be great for students in 5th through 9th grade. It is extremely humorous and
keeps readers attention through its words and animations. It is also a shorter chapter book that is great for
middle aged students. I really feel like kids ages 10-14 would really take a liking to this book and enjoy
reading it either in their class or in their free time.

If I were to use this book in my classroom I would use this book as read aloud. I would read it to my class
when we had any free time or when they just need a small break from school work. I feel as if my students
would really enjoy the humor in it and the story of the Heffley's journeys on their road trip.
