I would use this in my classroom because it has a lot of questions I'm sure my younger students have. At this
young age children are curious and trying to figure out the world as well as themselves. This book would
allow them to see that asking questions isn't silly and that it is OK to ask questions. I feel as if my younger
children would really enjoy and relate to this book tremendously.

I believe that this book would be appropriate for students in pre-k through to first grade. Younger children are
extremely curious about everything and always love to ask, “why” about everything, just as Jack does. Also,
this book has a lot of colorful pictures which would catch students eyes and easy vocabulary for a younger
audience to understand. I also feel like these questions are some that maybe my students have, so this book
would really relate to them and peak their interests.

In my classroom, I would have my students first listen to me read the book aloud. Then, I would have them
discuss the questions little Jack had and maybe see if they could come up with some of the answers. After our
whole class discussion I would have my students pick their favorite question of Jacks and answer it the best
that they can or what they think the answer is. I would also have them come up with their own “why”
question and have them come up with the answer to their questions in groups. Also, I would discuss with
them why asking questions is important and stress the fact that it is always ok to ask questions no matter what.
