I would love to use this book in my classroom when discussing bees and all that they do. This book is
extremely educational and can help aid students when learning this information. It has a plethora of pictures
and valuable information about bees that I would use to teach this unit. Also, it has a fun story line to go
with it that would make following along with the book easy. This book is such a great resource that my
students could use to refer to while discovering bees.

I feel as if this book would be great for students in any elementary school grade (Pre-k through fifth grade).
Students start to learn about bees and nature when they are in Pre-K and continue to learn about it all
throughout elementary school up to fifth grade. The great educational information, colorful pictures, and fun,
easy to follow story line would be appealing to all kids. I feel that every elementary school classrooms
should have this book available in them for students to read.
I would use this book when teaching a unit on bees and even nature. I would either have the students listen as I read or read it on their own depending on their grades and then discuss it as a class. I would have my elementary students draw a picture of a beehive, a bee, where they could find beehives, and other aspects of a bees life. I would also have my older students write about what bees do for our environment and why they're so important. In addition, I would have my students create their own beehives and nature settings out of paper. There is so many things I could do with this book and I can’t wait to use it in my own classroom one day.
